About the Manual
Learning how to Master Flowmap
Flowmap is a program for spatial accessibility analysis and flow modeling. For that,
several data sources are required, and also many different choices can be made and
parameters set. Therefore Flowmap isn't a program you can quickly learn by a little
experimenting. The most efficient way to get a grip on it, is to go through the manual
step by step, and use the demo data set.
Manual Specifications
The manual is a totally free, English language, illustrated,
downloadable
MS-Word 6 (=7) document. It contains about 130 pages. It directs you
through opening maps and data files, displaying them, selecting geographic features,
changing settings, performing analyses, displaying the results, and importing and
exporting files. Clear hands-on instructions are given, using the demonstration data set.
Take a quick look at the sample of the manual, and the contents page below it.
